Scanno

Scanno is a delightful and picturesque village with cobbled lanes, tiny piazze and houses huddled together; this is a traditional mountain village with an ancient history.

Summer provides stunning vistas and activities that include, pony trekking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, tennis and many fascinating cultural events.

The area offers an abundance of restaurants, shops, century’s old buildings and charming boutiques with local crafts of lace and jewellery; this is a location with no reason to be bored and every opportunity to relax.

Winter makes Scanno an ideal base for skiing on Mount Rotondo and Passo Godi and offers skiing to around 1900 metres with new slopes being created that will reach over 2100 metres.

Further ski resorts provide the downhill and cross country enthusiast with more than 400km to explore in the region of Abruzzo.

Scanno è un delizioso e pittoresco borgo caratterizzato dalle strette strade in selciato, piccole piazze e le tipiche case addossate le une sulle altre; questo è il tipico villaggio di montagna con una storia antica.

L'Estate offre spettacolari vedute panoramiche ed attività che includono il trekking a cavallo, la canoa sul lago, le escursioni in montagna a piedi ed in mountain-bike, il tennis e molti altri interessanti eventi culturali.
